Big League Baseball School offers competitive-level Travel Baseball
without the Travel for players with a desire for more competition than a
rec league, but not wanting the time and expense of traditional travel
leagues. All leagues play locally with double headers on the weekend
with summer league played at Ohio State University’s Fred Beekman Park,
and fall played at top quality local fields and high schools. Summer and
Fall Youth Leagues are comprised of 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14 divisions;
Varsity and Jr Varsity High School players have a fall league; the Live
Indoor Hit League runs through the winter for players 9 up; and the
Travel Prep League runs year-round combining instruction with game play
to prepare 7-8 year old players for competitive travel league play. Big
League Baseball School offers private and group instruction by top-notch
instructors (many have played professionally) for baseball and fast
pitch/softball of all ages.
Fall league runs August 29 through October 4. Deadline is August 1st,
but we will waive free agent fee (and late fee) for any kidslinked
player who registers by August 15th. They should use the code
"kidslinked" to waive $25 free agent fee.
Classes are: Little Big Leaguers A
class especially designed for beginning players to introduce the key
fundamentals of throwing, catching, fielding and hitting. Incorporates
fitness with skills. Four-week sessions. Age groups: 7-8, 9-10
Keys to Hitting This
class teaches the basic hitting fundamentals: balance, stance,
efficient swing path, and tracking the ball. Combines fitness, drills,
and a fun hitting competition. Four-week sessions. Age groups: 9-10,
11-12, 13-14
Catching Clinics Covers the fundamentals of
receiving a pitched ball, framing the pitch, blocking, throwing and
general fielding as well as attitude and game strategies. Combines
agility, drills, and weekly pop time competition. Four-week sessions.
Suggested for players with previous game experience. Age groups: 9-10,
11-12, 13-14
Pitching Bullpen Pitchers will be challenged to
maximize their power and velocity by developing/refining pitching
mechanics. The class format is designed to train pitchers on how to
control pitches in the strike zone for fastball and change-up, hold
runners on base, perfect pick off moves, and master the basic fielding
requirements. Each class will stress basic arm care (proper pre game
stretching) and involve appropriate exercises for their maturity level.
The small class size allows the pitching instructor to design an
individual program for each player. Four-week sessions. Suggested for
players with previous game experience. Age groups: 11-12, 13-14
Middle School FUNdamentals Focus
will be to get each player in “baseball shape” and ready for game play
by identifying, and addressing areas for improvement. Perfect for
players who need to be at their peak when trying out for teams. Designed
to maximize player skill development by identifying and addressing
areas of improvement. Instructors will introduce techniques and drills
specific to each player’s needs to bring them up to a competitive level.
Incorporates fitness and skill development in all phases of the game.

Santa’s Super Mini Camps A
fun filled workshop held by the baseball elves that will focus on
hitting, pitching, and catching in addition to providing time for
parents to wrap things up for the Holidays. Single morning sessions. Age
