The 2023 Columbus Arts Festival is the perfect summer event to explore art, have fun and get inspired. This year’s festival includes more than 200 talented artists, hundreds of performers on three stages and over 35 food vendors. Make the best of your experience by visiting the 2023 Emerging Artists, the Big Local Arts Village and the Hands-On Activities Village. See you there!

When you’re planning your trip to the Festival, be sure to make the Hands-On Activities Village a stop in your schedule. With help from several local organizations like Art Garden Academy, Kaleidoscope Youth Center, Ohio Designer Craftsmen and Glass Axis, the Hands-On Activities Village is a must-see destination. No matter your age, there’s something fun for you to do! Try painting your own canvas, making an art tote, inventing funny creatures and getting your face painted.

The Children’s Gallery is designed to help kids select their own piece of art! Festival artists donate the artwork. Each piece is priced for kids’ pocketbooks at $5 and under. The kid-sized tent (no peeking, parents!) lets them shop a variety of art at their own pace.

The Big Local Arts Village features local artists selling their work and demonstrating their craft. Kids will love seeing blacksmiths hammering out metal sculptures, wood-turners carving and potters throwing clay on big wheels.

All of the activities at the Columbus Arts Festival are fun and safe, so add the Festival to your schedule today for a weekend filled with art!

The Columbus Arts Festival is only days away, so put it on your calendar today. Pick up the festival map or download the mobile app to find performance locations and schedules, artists and maps. The Columbus Arts Festival app offers an easy way to organize your visit and to make your trip to the Festival more fun-filled and efficient. The Festival and the app are free!

The Columbus Arts Festival is a favorite welcome-to-summer event for the whole family! Enjoy art projects at the Hands-On Activities Village like painting, silk screening, printmaking, drawing your own fantastical creature or designing a tote to carry your artwork. Whether you’re looking for fun activities for the kids or simply something fun for yourself, the Columbus Arts Festival provides for the whole family.

Be sure to stop by the Children’s Gallery where exhibiting artists from the Festival donate small art pieces. Everything in the gallery sells for $5 and under. Have the kids play art collector and pick out the pieces they love. And make sure to be on the lookout for the Festival’s mascot, Arthur S. Hark (aka Art Shark)! He’s always on the move, so snap a picture before he swims away again!
