Metro Schools has been Central Ohio's leading public STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) program since 2006. The hands-on, project-based model engages students in real-world learning that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and fun!
The newest addition to the Metro network is Metro Elementary School, located on the west campus of The Ohio State University at 1929 Kenny Road. Active learning is at the heart of the curriculum, connecting classroom lessons to real-world applications. Our goal is to ignite a passion for growth, exploration, community and belonging.
Metro Middle & High School are at the newly renovated Metro@Indianola building at 420 E. 19th Avenue - a historic school in the heart of the University District. Students engage in an accelerated program that prepares them for educational and career success through the development of personal habits including responsible decision-making, problem-solving, self-advocacy and engagement. Over 90% of Metro graduates complete college credits before graduation, most on the main campus of The Ohio State University.
