This exciting race involves running our fun racecourse, receiving a pumpkin at the finish line, awards for best costume, medals for top finishers (1 or 2 mile) an special trick or treat run (.25 or .5 mile) where you run to serval fun treat stations during the run! Race Information:
Olentangy Pumpkin Run (10:25AM – 1- or 2-mile option) –
- Start by running the fun course (bubbles at the starting line)
- Small Pumpkin after the race
- Costume Contest (Awards for best costume, funniest costume, and most original – top 2-3 by category)
- Special Awards for the top 10 by gender by distance
- Pumpkin Medal at Finish Line
- Tritan 1L Sports Water Bottle
Trick or Treat Fun Run (10:45AM - .25- or .5-mile option) –
- Start by running the fun course (bubbles at the starting line)
- 4 Fun Stops during the course:
-Stop 1 (.25 & .5 Mile): Halloween Pencil with Stamper
-Stop 2 (.25 & .5 Mile): Small Stuffed Animal
-Stop 3 (.5 Mile Only): Halloween Ball
-Stop 4 (.5 Mile Only): Fun Halloween Candy Treat
- Small Pumpkin after the race

Race Details:
Date: Saturday, October 19th, 2024
Location: Olentangy Orange Middle School (2680 E Orange Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035)
Start Location: Near the Track on the West side of the Middel School (Run is a mixture of grass and pavement)
Distance: Pumpkin Run (1 or 2 mile) or Trick or Treat Run (.25 or .5 Miles)
Start Time:
- 1 or 2 Miles: 10:25AM
- .25 or .5 Mile: 10:45AM
Awards: Special Awards for the 1st 10 finishers by gender at finish line in order of finish for 1 or 2 miles!
Special Trick or Treat Stops (.25 or .5 mile): Run to a 4 different trick or treat stops! .25 mile receive 2 treat stops and .5-mile run receive 4 treat stops!

Super Sale (Ends 9/26 – All fees increase +$5 after – Race Day +$10)

Packet Pick-up Options:
RACE DAY:
- Saturday, Oct 19th - Opens 9AM
- Main Check in for the event – Back part of the Middle School (outside – West side - look for giant inflatable pumpkin)
- NO PETS ALLOWED (strollers are fine – course is on grass)

Race Day Updates will be either posted on the KidsLinked Facebook page or via email. Final runner instructions will be sent the week of the race!
Inclement Weather Policy
The Pumpkin Run will start as scheduled (start times listed above) regardless of rain, snow or cold temperatures.
If there is visible lightning in the area, the race will be delayed for a minimum of 15 minutes. The race would only be further delayed, postponed, shortened or cancelled if extreme conditions jeopardize the safety of participants.
